Jewish Studies in the Big Ten and CIC

The Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) is a network of universities, most of them in the Big Ten, that have reciprocal agreements for sharing of resources.

University of Nebraska students may wish to consider CIC member institutions for summer sessions courses in Jewish Studies: with the exception of the University of Iowa, all schools in the CIC have a dedicated Jewish Studies program or center, and most offer Jewish Studies courses year-round.

Doctoral students can also take advantage of reciprocal enrollment for up to a year, with no change in registration procedures and all courses and credits listed on the student's home institution transcript. Learn more...

CIC members engage in voluntary, sustained partnerships such as programs that allow students to take courses at other institutions; study-abroad collaborations; access to library collections; and leadership and development programs for faculty and staff.
