Many universities around the world offer courses in Jewish studies, and students studying abroad at a major university will likely be able to pursue coursework on the history and culture of Jews in that country. Some programs focus specifically on Jewish history, culture, language, and and/or the arts. Many are open to graduate students as well as undergraduates.

The UNL Education Abroad office should be your starting point for exploration. Below, you will find a partial list of study abroad programs that specialize in some aspect of Jewish studies. Most of these programs are open to graduate students or have a separate graduate-level component. For additional listings of programs in Israel, Canada, South Africa, Australia, and several European countries, see the pages maintained by Smith College, the University of Minnesota and Missouri State.
